NH 7 weekender brought Music- composer singer AR Rehman the Grammy Award winner to New Delhi after 7 years. The musical evening attended by large youthful crowd from Delhi NCR and particularly Dwarkaite’s saw all swooning and cheering to Rehman’s tunes.
AR Rahman stole many hearts with his romantic numbers like “Dil Se”, “O Humdum Suniyo Re” and end up with “Nadaan Pareende Ghar Aaja”. Not only Hindi songs, the music composer also enthralled the audience with a Tamil number from his latest collaboration with veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam.
The NH 7 weekender event supported by Delhi Tourism is sponsored by Bacardi. The sector 10 ground adjacent to ITC Hotel was beautiful decorated with 5 large stages for performances, many attractive stalls of food, cocktails and even a Bacardi lounge bar. One could experience many high tech games on free basis, too.
Hundreds of welcome gates and huge hoardings have been put up on all the roads leading to the venue.
Around 1,000 staff has been tasked with ensuring cleanliness while an equal number of security personnel have been deployed in and around the venue. The parking is for free and available in large area.
Other singers who enthralled the audience were Dr L Subramniam, Bipul Chetrri, Mark Ronson and Vir Das.
