Water: Water helps to clean our systems from waste products and toxins. Dehydration, low energy, tiredness and sometimes headaches because of less water level in body. So well hydrate yourself.

Eat proper breakfast: A healthy breakfast helps in jump start your metabolism.

Eat smaller meals throughout the day: Eating small and healthy meals throughout the day like 6-8 times rather than the standard three (breakfast, lunch and dinner). This keeps your energy up throughout the day and your metabolism going well.

Simple food: Always counting calories or measuring portion or sizes of food. Don’t do that just concentrate on your diet in terms of color, variety and freshness of food. This helps you in choosing healthy food instead of counting calories. Focus on food you love and add some fresh ingredients for more flavor and variety.

Start slow and make changes to your eating habits over time. Trying to make your diet healthy overnight isn’t realistic or smart. Changing everything at once usually leads to cheating or giving up on your new eating plan. Make small steps, like adding a salad (full of different color vegetables) to your diet once a day or switching from butter to olive oil when cooking.  As your small changes become habit, you can continue to add more healthy choices to your diet.

Avoid eating at night: Try to eat dinner earlier in the day and then fast for 12-14 hours until breakfast the next morning. Early studies suggest that this simple dietary adjustment—eating only when you’re most active and giving your digestive system a long break each day—may help to regulate weight. After-dinner snacks tend to be high in fat and calories so are best avoided, anyway.
