SaMaPa is more than an academy and is a cultural movement. Under the aegis of its Chairman, the Great Music Legend Pandit Bhajan Sopori, SaMaPa is credited to have brought a Cultural Revolution and to have created a new generation of music connoisseurs in the country esp. J&K. SaMaPa has presented various pioneering & path breaking festivals, programmes & productions in the last 7 years and has various firsts to its credit. SaMaPa is acclaimed as the “Cultural Bridge” of the Jammu & Kashmir State with the rest of the country. SaMaPa has been awarded the ‘J&K Dogri Award, 2008’ by the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, and has also received ‘The RX Club Award of Excellence, 2009’.
